Why Blogging Communities?
Blogging communities can help you grow your audience, develop your brand and connect to those with similar interests as you.
Belonging to a blogging community also helps you grow personally as a blogger. You can ask questions, learn SEO and many other skills to improve your own blog. You find a sense of belonging and camaraderie, not competition in these communities.
These communities offer more help, support, encouragement and kindness than I see anywhere else. This is the type of mindfulness and togetherness we need to see throughout society. 🙂
Everyone accepts everyone else’s opinions. What a wonderful concept! I love my place in this beautiful blogging community!

“I blog to empower cancer survivors to adopt healthy lifestyles. In 2013, I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I found that healthy eating, exercise and mindfulness were the key to regaining strength, wellness and happiness after treatments. So many survivors continue to struggle for years after treatments have ended. I blog to share the science, examples and possibilities of repairing body and mind to thrive again. Blogging has also helped me, personally, by providing a platform to share my struggles and triumphs with others. It provides me opportunities to learn from my readers and fellow bloggers. I strive to understand their struggles and help when I can. I am so inspired when they are able to overcome and heal through healthy living. It’s truly wonderful to see the power that simple healthy habits can have on someone’s life. I have met so many wonderful people who have done this. That’s my favourite part of blogging.” ~Patricia~
Even if you aren’t struggling with cancer or a cancer survivor, I believe you can find peace, comfort and great encouragement from Patricia’s blog. Please check it out and leave her some comments of encouragement as well!

This is how Jo answered when I asked her why she blogs;
“I began blogging in 2019 after a very traumatic previous year. Initially, I was simply looking for a combination of personal catharsis and a way of helping others who might be in a similar position to myself. I was amazed at the overwhelmingly positive response, and very quickly fell in love with blogging as a creative outlet and wonderful means of (global) communication. It’s given me confidence, helped to boost my self esteem, allowed me to meet new people and opened me up to so many new opportunities that I simply wouldn’t have had before. Meet Nilakshi S!
Nilakshi is the creator of MerakiMusings blog.

She was losing her health, all her confidence, and felt she was becoming someone she could not imagine being.
She had been blogging as a hobby, then her husband suggested she turn her blogging into a business! The thought of not working a traditional job was a bit scary for Nilakshi at first, but she took the leap of faith, turned to her blog and left the toxic work environment forever!
Becoming a full-time blogger has been a dream come true for Nilakshi, and she owes it all to her husband’s encouragement! She is very grateful for his faith in her.
Nilakshi’s favorite quote is below:
